Back in 2008 I joined British Gas as an apprentice. I received second to none training that has made me the engineer that I am today. I worked incredibly hard to learn every piece of knowledge that I could whilst I trained. This worked well for me as I completed the training in 3 years even though it was a 5 year course.
After this I was a Technical Engineer for a few years. I then moved on to becoming a Coach. This involved training and improving the skills of engineers out on patch, taking technical courses and much more. I learned valuable skills during this time especially on delivering exceptional customer service.
I decided one day to trust my own abilities and to set up my own company, SMP Gas & Heating Ltd. I have invested heavily in equipment, new technology and fault finding equipment to make your customer journey the best it can be.
We care about you and your home. That’s why at SMP Gas & Heating Ltd we always wear shoe covers, use dust sheets and always make sure your home is left as we found it. We believe this sets us apart from other businesses.
